We have District winner in chess Tournament viz. R. Manikandan of XI – std won I prize, P. Ganapathy of XI std won II prize, B.Sriram of XI std won III prize, O.Sureah Arumugam of VII std won III prize, R.Vishalachi of VIII std won III prize.

                                     

Our students have foot prints in all sports activities, as mentioned below.

A handball team of 17 X std boys won state level prize in 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2005-06 respectively

A handball team of 19 XII std boys won state level prize in 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2005-06 respectively.

In 2005-06, S. K. Somanathan of XII std, won state level prize High-jump and Triple jump.

In the same year, S.Ram kumar of XII std won state level prize in 100mts and 110 mts hurdles.

J. sankar Ganesh of XII std secured state-level prize in long jump.

In 2006-07, John Premnath of X std, won National level prize in Handball, and a team of 19 girls from Xi std won state level prize in Handball. .

J. Jenifer of XII std bagged National level prize in Yoga in 2006-07, followed by P. Selav savitha of XI std, who won National level prize in handball.

In 2007-08, we have a state winner in 110mts, hurdles namely S. Muthukumar of XII std.

These are the challenging team and they are proving themselves Excellent in sports.

We are having many stars in Sports namely D. Thanga Praveen , V. Murugan, R. Karthikeyan, N. Nataraj, A. Vallichavutry, Arthi, E.Mariappan,. They had won Excellent prizes in Basket ball and Athletics respectively.

D. Thanga Praveen had participated in PYKKA statelevel basketball competition held in Chennai ate Nehru stadium. He played as District representative in Thoothukudi District Basket ball in 2009-2010. He had his participation in 110mts Hurdles, High jump at divisional level. He also achieved third place in 110mts hurdles in divisional level. He is continuing his excellent performance by bring a runnerup in Zudo at divisional level.

                                             

Saying about V. Murugan, he had his participation in PYKKA state level athletic meet in Chennai at Nehru stadium in 4x400 mts relay and 4x100 mts relay. He represented in state level kho-kho match held in Kanchipuram at Kanchipuram District stadium.

He leaded the Thoothukudi district kho-kho team as a captain and he is proving himself having excellent participation in District level sports meet in Triple jump, Long jump of 400 mts.

Our school student A. Vignesh of XII std is an excellent Athlet player. P. Vinoth sankar of VIII std is secured the District Overall Championship.

Our Studentsare not only excellent in yoga but also in JUDO. Some of our School students had participated in State level JUDO Competition at Thiruvannamalai on 20th sep 2010.

R. Karthikeyan of IX std was selected for Tamilnadu Senior Handball Team at Madurai, Participated in the National Level Hand Ball Tournament which was held in Jalendher.

                                         

M. Nataraj of XI std from our school Participated in State Level Judo competition of Thiruvanamalai and He got the Gold Model in 30-40 kg Weight Category.

A. Vallichavutry of VIII std from Our School participated in State Level Judo Competition at Thiruvanamalai. He got Silver Model in 35-40 kg Weight Category.

The other State level participants E. Mariappan of XII Std , Naveen kumar of VIII std, N. Usha Nanthini of IX std, R. Sushila of IX Std , Merlin nisha of VII std , Suganthi of VI std.

G.Arthy of XII std participated in state level basket ball competition.

P. Vishalatchi of IX std Participated in chess competition. She got the first prize in the District level and participated in divisional level competition.
